Rearing Healthy Calves Workshop – Sunshine Coast – Sexton (via Gympie)

Experienced rural Vet, Justin Schooth will be facilitating a healthy calves farm walk hosted by Andrew & Fiona Burnett on their farm at Sexton on Friday 22nd February 2019.

The day will cover all you need to know about rearing strong, healthy calves. Discussion will focus on issues relevant to the topic on the day but can include topics such as pre-calving care, calf housing, identification and traceability, nutrition, disease prevention, health management and weaning management.

A revised edition of the Dairy Australia resource ‘Rearing Healthy Calves’ will be available on the day.

Morning tea and lunch will be provided. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.

Please wear clean boots or closed-in shoes and a hat. Bring a fold-up chair, if you have one.
